Trauma
If you have a history of trauma, it is incredibly important to work with a therapist that is well versed in healing-centered care. Art therapy is uniquely beneficial for healing trauma because it allows you to express yourself nonverbally. In our work together, you can expect to feel a sense of safety, connect more fully to your emotions, and become more in tune with your body.
I use parts work, somatic interventions, and of course art-making and even dream analysis (when applicable) to help you process and heal from your trauma. Through this process, you will notice patterns you have that will start to change over time. My biggest goal is to help you reclaim your power—from your wounds, you can transform into a person with incredible power and strength.
