Transitions in life are inevitable, but that doesn’t mean those changes are easy. Maybe you are moving away from home, making a career change, becoming an empty nester, deciding to have children, getting married, or leaving for college—just to name a few! Whether the change is positive or negative, expected or unexpected, chosen or not, those changes often leave us feeling vulnerable or uncertain as we let go of what is familiar and step into new, unknown experiences.
When life changes happen, it’s helpful to have a therapist to walk you through the before, during, and/or after times of a big transition.
